The e-business or e-commerce is a term used to describe companies operating over the Internet or through the use of Internet technologies to improve the productivity or profitability of a business.
In a more general sense, the term can be used to describe any form of electronic commerce – that is, any company that uses a computer to do their business in social networks and other Internet space. This usage is somewhat archaic, however, and in most contexts e-business refers exclusively to Internet businesses.
The most common application of e-Business is a kind of dealer, or in some cases primary, like a tent. By selling products and services online, the e-Business is able to reach a customer base much broader than any traditional store could expect to get.

Even Internet businesses often works without an electronic storefront now use e-procurement as a way to better track and manage their purchases.
Besides buying and selling products, e-commerce can also handle other traditional business aspects. The use of chat as a form of technical support and customer service is an excellent example of this. The e-business which uses chat to supplement its traditional phone support finds a system which saves incredible amounts of time while providing opportunities available through traditional support.
Using virtual computer systems, for example, technical support operators can remotely access the customer’s account and which will support the correction of a problem. And downloading a small program, all pertinent information about the hardware and software specifications for a particular user’s computer can be transmitted directly support operator.
The use of email and private websites as a method for the distribution of internal notes and information is another use that can be given to e-business; we also find the option of e-mail marketing that gives an opening to marketing brand and a particular business.
Instead of producing physical copies intensive time and cost for each employee, a central server or email list can serve as an effective method for distributing the necessary information. In recent years, virtually all businesses have become, to some degree or another, in a place of commerce.
The pervasiveness of Internet technology, the solutions available, and the benefits have repeatedly shown that electronic technology has made e-business a safe path to follow. This trend continues with new technologies, the Internet is enabled on mobile phones and PDA, and the most probable trend of the saturation of electronic commerce is to continue for some time.
